The first bit of advice we’ll give any consumer would be about fertilization, proper mulching practices and watering. Without these three, you’re tree won’t grow nor will it survive. These aren’t difficult time consuming activities that you have to do either. Just small bits of time can produce wondrous results for your property and increase it’s value.
We also always urge home or property owners to protect their trees during the winter and other seasons from weather, pests and animals. When bark is penetrated, it makes infection or infestation of a tree far more likely. It’s these types of things that can destroy a tree entirely.
You also have to eliminate competition from other plants such as weeds. Remember, all of these plants are sharing the same ecosystem and looking to absorb whatever nutrients they can find. Weeds can starve out a tree. We recommend getting rid of weeds or any types of plants that are unwelcome within your landscape.
