The Importance of Trees
Trees may be most important thing on earth in order for humans to both survive and
thrive. On the most basic level trees provide fresh breathing air (oxygen) that
all life needs. In the modern world trees have become even more significant.
Rising carbon emissions and pollution is most effectively filtered by trees
which then release oxygen back into the environment. However, it goes much
deeper than that. Trees prevent exposure from the sun’s harmful ultra violet
rays. This can prevent skin cancer and other harmful diseases. By casting shade
trees are effectively the greatest attribute we have at our disposal of
lowering energy costs.
Shade that is supplied to your home is responsible for
cutting the use of air conditioners in the summer. Trees are a natural symbol
of beauty and life. As a result communities which have fewer trees tend to have
higher violent crime rates. On another note trees are one of our main sources
of fruit an essential nutrient we require. However, it’s also under spoken just
how essential trees are to the ecosystems of wildlife everywhere. Trees provide
valuable homes for all kinds of animals. The benefits of trees are nearly
endless, as the old saying goes, the best time to plant a tree was yesterday,
the second best time is now.
